Choose the desktop release#

Download an installer matching your system from the official Onevium releases page.

Before downloading#

Version 1.1.22 lists Apple silicon and Intel Mac, Windows x64, and Linux x64/arm64 builds. Available package formats are those listed with the release.

Finish or pause tasks before updating, and note active projects and services. Consult settings and data for backups; do not delete the data directory during a routine update.

Install and open the app#

  1. Confirm your system architecture and download the matching asset. Check its checksum when a checksum file is provided.
  2. On macOS, open the disk image and move Onevium to Applications. On Windows, run the installer. On Linux, install according to the package format.
  3. Launch the app and complete the authentication shown.
  4. Confirm the running version in Settings.

For 1.1.22 on macOS, download and install the update manually. On other systems, follow an available update prompt and check the version after reopening.

Verify the installation#

Confirm that a project opens, existing history is available, and you can create a conversation. Model replies require separate provider setup. A restored service record also needs a fresh readiness check.

Troubleshoot installation#

  • Package will not open: check system and architecture.
  • Old version appears: check for another app copy in Downloads.
  • System warning: verify the source and follow system guidance without disabling protections globally.
  • History missing: confirm the app copy and system user first.

Set up the first connection#

Configure providers and models, then run your first task.
