Connect a Feishu bot

Purpose#

Connect a Feishu bot so a test group can use a Onevium project assistant and receive its replies.

Before you start#

Prepare application-management access, a test group, and a working Onevium model connection. In the Feishu Open Platform, confirm the organization and available users. For Lark, follow the console instructions for that tenant. A basic persistent connection does not require exposing the desktop management port.

First task#

1. Create an internal application, enable its bot, and retain the App ID and App Secret.
2. Follow the event-subscription instructions for persistent message delivery. Grant the minimum capabilities to receive messages and send replies.
3. Publish the application, include test users in its audience, and add the bot to the group.
4. Create a Feishu connection in Onevium Channels. Validate credentials, choose the project, model, and role, then save and start.
5. Mention the bot: “The test code is alpha.” After its reply, ask for the code.

Confirm success#

Both messages reach the intended conversation and Feishu receives the correct replies. Add and test card or attachment capabilities separately when needed. Successful text does not prove file delivery.

Common problems#

• No inbound messages: check the audience, group membership, and event connection.
• Input without replies: check the model, pending approval, and sending permissions.
• Blank cards: inspect the platform error and card capabilities; verify readable final text.
